I knew it had lots of glitches, but WTF?

Something weird happened when I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle... I had entered the Chao garden from the Stage Select menu (as Sonic), done some random stuff, and the weird thing happened when I left. It sent me to Rogue's part of Cannon's Core, mission 1.... Uh, anyone ever hear of something like that? I never used any sort of cheating device or whatever, by the way...

Nothing happened when I finished the stage, but since I effectively was able to skip the first two stages, I had a pretty neat time score of 02:46:04... Not sure if that's possible outside of cheating or glitches, but again... What happened? 0_o

Huh, I wonder why the timer started at 00:00:00 if the time carries over? 0_o
